Since the primary focus is on reducing all  central line blood stream infections (CLABSI) in dialysis centers,   mandatory reporting to NHSN was initiated and the need for experienced infection control professionals to support  and protect during the regulatory agencies visits/surveys became a necessity.

 

We provide the following services:

 

• Review and update the Dialysis Infection Control Policies and procedures to match latest recommendations and requirements. Develop new policies as needed.

 

• Review and update the Dialysis forms to match best practices. Recommend appropriate electronic support in addition to the necessary documents.

 

• Update the required information to the National Health Safety Network (NHSN) following the requirements of the CMS and CDPH. 

 

• Coordinate with the center manager in choosing the appropriate quality indicators.

 

• Provide fundamental education to the dialysis staff.  

 

• Provide continuous support and protection during any regulatory agency survey.
